Delete your CardSnap account and data

App name: CardSnap. Developer: the CardSnap app owner. This page explains how to delete your account, what is removed, and what little is kept.

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Sign in to CardSnap.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Go to Data and privacy.
  4. Under Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.

This happens straight away and cannot be undone. If you want a copy first, use Download my data in the same section.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@cardsnap.asia from the address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify that the address matches an account and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

  • Your login and your CardSnap profile, including your digital card page.
  • Every saved contact and its emails, phone numbers, company and address details.
  • Business card photos and profile screenshots stored for your account.
  • Notes, voice note transcripts, meeting context and timeline events.
  • Reminders, follow-up drafts and message drafts.
  • Groups, tags and relationship memory.
  • Writing style data and the message samples it learned from.
  • Calendar entries CardSnap stored for tagging, and profile update history.
  • Push notification registrations and notification history.
  • Product usage events recorded against your account.
  • Any team you own, and your membership of teams you joined.
  • Access to connected accounts: the stored access key is revoked with the connector service where possible and deleted from our database either way. If revocation cannot be confirmed, we tell you so you can also remove CardSnap from your Google account permissions page.

What is kept, and why

  • Cost and usage records with no link to you: rows recording that an AI action ran, and what it cost, are kept for accounting and abuse prevention. The account reference is removed, so they no longer point to you or contain your content.
  • Encrypted infrastructure backups: our database provider keeps short-term backups. Deleted data ages out of these on the provider's normal cycle and is not restored into the live app.
  • Records we must keep by law: if a deletion request is tied to a legal or security matter, we keep only what the law requires, and only for as long as it requires.

Anything you shared outside CardSnap, such as a card you sent by message or a contact you saved into your own phone or Google account, stays where you put it. Remove those copies yourself.

Delete some data, keep your account

Settings, then Data and privacy, also lets you delete every contact while keeping your login, turn off card photo storage, and turn off AI enrichment.
