How installing works
CardSnap is a web app, not a store download. Your browser adds a home screen icon that opens CardSnap full screen. Nothing installs by itself: you always confirm the last step. To remove it, delete the icon like any other app.
iPhone and iPad
- Open cardsnap.asia/install in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen", then tap Add.
- Open CardSnap from the new icon on your home screen.
On recent iOS versions Chrome and Edge also show "Add to Home Screen" in their Share menu. If you opened this link inside another app (for example a QR scanner or chat app), open it in Safari first.
Android
- Open cardsnap.asia/install in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen", then confirm.
Samsung Internet: tap the menu, then "Add page to", then "Home screen". If the option is missing, close the in-app preview and open the link directly in Chrome.
Computer (Chrome or Edge)
Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, then confirm "Install CardSnap".
