Is CardSnap free?
- CardSnap Free does not expire. It includes 10 card scans a month, unlimited saved contacts and 5 AI actions a month. If you need more, CardSnap Pro is US$4.99 a month or US$49.99 a year, and RM19.90 a month or RM199 a year in Malaysia. Eligible accounts can try Pro free for 14 days, no card required, and nothing charges when the 14 days end.
Do I need to install anything?
- No. CardSnap runs in the browser. You can also add it to your home screen on iPhone or Android for full screen scanning.
What happens to the card image?
- It is stored in your own account so you can check the original later. Only you can see it, and you can delete it at any time.
Does it handle Asian phone formats?
- Yes. The reader is tuned for ASEAN mobile prefixes, so the mobile number that lands in the contact is the one you can actually call.
Can I get my data out?
- Yes. Export your contacts to a file, save individual contacts to your phone, or sync them to Google Contacts. Account deletion removes everything.
Which languages does CardSnap understand?
- The app interface is available in 28 Asian and international languages, and voice notes handle English, Malay, Manglish, Singlish, Chinese and Tamil input.
How does CardSnap protect my contacts?
- Every record is tied to your own account and only you can read it. We never sell or share your data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
